Over Sarah’s 40 years of life, she battled a terminal disease that required many trips to the hospital and medical interventions. As it progressed over the last few years, she required countless blood transfusions to prolong her life. In 2020 she was able to spend extended and sweet time with her family, in part, because of receiving blood transfusions. To honor Sarah and share the love that she had for others, her friends & family have organized a blood drive with the American Red Cross. This way, the members of her community can give to others who need blood.
