Women’s Valentine Bunco Night
Who’s ready to come out and have some Valentine's fun?
Come join us for a Valentine Bunco Night (a dice game played with multiple partners). We will have snacks, prizes, and an enjoyable time of fellowship. No experience needed.
Bring a snack to share if you’d like. Cost is $5.00.
We will also have the privilege of writing valentines for some of the women in Hope Beyond (a ministry that helps and encourages women who are or have been incarcerated).
There will be tables set up with valentine supplies, so come out and share the love.

If you do not like an amazing breakfast, excellent fellowship, and meeting new people, this event is not for you. But, if you love amazing breakfast, fellowship, and meeting new people, please join us for our Men's breakfast at 9:00 AM on Saturday, February 14th at VBC!
Invite your fathers and sons, friends, male coworkers, and neighbors. This event is free, though we will be accepting voluntary donations to help offset food costs.
Wellness Together - a VBC Women’s Event
A VBC Women's Event - Wellness Together Saturday, February 21st, 2026.
Come out and join us for an afternoon of walking, strengthening, and praying together! Jen Allan, a CPT, will lead you through a dynamic warm-up with power walking, fitness stations, and a time of strengthening the core and balance.
Bring your mat and tubing from home.
We'll end our time with some prayer and fellowship.
This is a FREE event!
Sip and Stroll
VBC Family, come join your VBC brothers and sisters on February 28th from 10:00 am-11:30 am for a memorable time of walking and talking at the Pleasanton Sports Park.
Bring a warm drink to sip on as you enjoy the fresh air and fellowship. This could be a wonderful, low-pressure, and friendly opportunity to invite your family and neighbors, too.

Camping Connections @ The Jackson Rancheria Campground
Camping Connections will be heading to the Jackson Rancheria campground from March 11-16.
Located in the Sierra Foothills, just east of Jackson in the Mother Lode, this campground has been voted the best RV campground in the entire country. There is plenty to do in this area, including a heated swimming pool, hot tub, putting green, bocce ball, hiking, paddle ball, and much more.
We've also had people stay at the hotel in the past. This campground is exclusively for RVs and trailers. Please feel free to contact Wayne Johnson at sportwayne@aol.com with your questions or to sign up.
We already have twenty sites reserved, as this location sells out a year in advance.
Wayne can also assist with RV rentals.
Camping Connections @ Hearst San Simeon State Campground
Camping Connection "Spring Break" outing to Hearst San Simeon, April 8 - 12.
This is our annual spring kickoff camping adventure. Located at the coast, just a few miles south of Hearst Castle.
There are many great destinations and things to do in this area. Try to reserve a campsite in the Lower Creek campground, in sites 43-75.

Men's Ministry Crossing Campus
Men, please join other men from VBC on Saturday, January 24th, for a church campus work and maintenance day. There will be inside and outside work, so bring yard tools and general work tools from home.

A gathering of VBC men of all ages meets from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM for a power hour of worship, teaching, and informal discussion groups. The free coffee bar will be available as early as 5:45 AM. We hope you will join us on Wednesday, January 7th!

Men's Ministry Monday Night Football and Pizza
Men- Do you enjoy football and pizza?
Please join us in the Crossing auditorium to watch the San Francisco 49ers play the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football on the big screen. The game is on November 24th. Kickoff is 5:15PM, but arrive when you can. In addition to the game, we will enjoy pizza, salad, and snacks.
We are requesting a $5 per person donation to cover the cost of food.
Ruck and Prayer
If you’re looking for comfort, stay in bed. If you’re looking for brotherhood, meet us on the trail for Ruck & Prayer. We’ll carry weight, pray, and seek the Lord together during a morning at Dublin Hills Regional Park.
Bring water and a weight vest or empty backpack. Sandbags provided for weight.
Honor God by training your body and your mind, and build lasting brotherhood with other men walking the same path in Christ.

Coat Drive
As the cold months arrive, many neighbors need a little extra warmth and love.
Monthly Miracles is partnering with New Beginnings Church for the annual Christmas Miracles Coat Drive—and VBC is excited to help!
We’re collecting clean, gently used coats of all sizes (NB to XXXL) for families in the Tri-Valley.
Donations can be dropped off in the front lobby box at VBC from November 16 to December 7, 2025. Together, let’s share the warmth and love of Christ to brighten this Christmas for those in need.

Camping Connections will be heading to Bodega Dunes, which is part of the Sonoma Coast State Parks. We will be there October 15- 20. However, you can reserve the dates that work for you.

AWANA Registration now open!
It's time to sign up for AWANA!
Clubs will begin meeting on Sunday, September 7th, at the VBC Crossing campus, serving preschoolers to high schoolers. AWANA offers a fun approach for early evangelism and discipleship that promotes Bible literacy and memorization. Last year, AWANA registered over 100 families from our church and community!
Spots are limited for several clubs, so be sure to register soon. If you have a heart for ministry to students, this is a great place to volunteer - openings available in every club!

Crossing Women Summer Saturday in Sausalito
Ladies, you are invited for a day out with friends, old and new, in Sausalito. Saturday, August 16th!
We will kayak for an hour on Richardson Bay with beautiful views and a wildlife hunt. Afterwards we will drive to Marin County Mart where we can wander the small shops, pick up produce at the Farmer’s Market or buy lunch at the deli, bakery or shake shack (or eat your picnic lunch from home)!

Crossing Kids Art Camp
@ the Crossing Campus: Join us for our VBC Kids Art Camp @ the Crossing! We'll be worshipping God together through art, songs, crafts, games, and making a big deal about Jesus! This is for ages 4-12 and is a fun way to bring friends to learn about God, so take an invite for a friend! Registration at the Crossing is now open– spots are limited, so be sure to register soon!
Ways to serve:
Serve by volunteering- Join us for 1 or all 3 days of Art Camp! We'll need help with prep, registration, helping with crafts, safety ushers, clean-up, etc.
Serve by donating:
We are collecting small prize donations to raffle off during Art Camp; we'd love to be able to send each kid home with a fun prize! (Small toys, crafts, $5 gift cards for a treat, etc.) You can find a collection bin in the VBC Kids lobby.
Training for English Conversation Teachers
English conversation classes for immigrants are scheduled for Friday, July 25, at 7 pm in Seminar One.
No prior experience is needed—just an open heart and a desire to help.
Ways to Support the Navajo Outreach
For 25 years, our church has partnered with Immanuel Mission in their Gospel ministry to the Navajo, and this July, we’re sending a team to Teec Nos Pos, Arizona, for a 10-day mission trip.
This outreach involves service projects, basketball camp, family ministry, and encouraging the missionaries.
Here are four ways you can support the mission:
• Fund one or part of the 13 rental vehicles ($1200 each)
• Sponsor a team member ($490)
• Provide a dinner for the adult training meeting (July 14, 15, or 16)
• Join the 24-hour prayer chain
For giving, choose the "Navajo" fund.

Women's Morning Hike
A women's morning hike at Martin Canyon Creek in Dublin.
Join us at the trailhead at 9:00 AM. Bring your water bottle, hat, and comfortable shoes.
It's about a 3-mile hike that includes a slight incline.
