This is an opportunity to work alongside one another, staying focused as we work unto the Lord, while enjoying espresso and fellowship. Coffee will be provided, and we encourage you to bring your own lunch to enjoy with the group.
Join for the full day, half day, or as much time as your schedule allows.
If you’re looking for comfort, stay in bed. If you’re looking for brotherhood, meet us on the trail for Ruck & Prayer. We’ll carry weight, pray, and seek the Lord together during a morning of discipline and fellowship.

Hope Beyond is having its 2nd Annual National Penpal Day card-writing event on Sunday, May 31st!
Hope Beyond is a ministry serving women in the California prison system to bring them hope, help, and the love of Christ.
It’s easy to involve your whole family & participate in-between services or after the second service in the MPR — we can’t wait to see you there! MAKE A DIFFERENCE. BRING HOPE.

Get ready for 3 days full of meaningful fun by worshipping God together through art, songs, crafts, games and making a big deal about Jesus! We’ll explore the nature of God and who He is. This is for ages 4-12.
Registration is now open– spots are limited, so be sure to register soon!
Ways to serve:
Serve by volunteering- Join us for 1, 2 or all 3 days of Art Camp! We'll need help with prep, registration, helping with crafts, safety ushers, clean-up, etc.
Serve by donating - We are collecting small prize donations to raffle off during Art Camp, and we'd love to send each kid home with a fun prize! (Small toys, crafts, $5 gift cards for a treat, etc. You can find a collection bin in the VBC Kids lobby.
Raising support for the outreach:
- Applying to join the team (HSM@vbc.online for students, Quest@vbc.online for adults)
- Praying for safety for the team, sanctification for believers, and salvation for the lost.
- Funding Building Materials, Transportation costs, and VBS supplies ($20,000 goal)

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend up at Beautiful Fort Bragg on the coast. We have reserved 15 sites up at the popular Pomo campground.
Reserve your site with Wayne (sportwayne@aol.com) before they are all gone.
Many beautiful attractions, beaches, hikes, Skunk Train, Mendocino, Fort Bragg, Botanical Gardens, and much more.
We will be camping at Henry Cowell State Park, just a hour from Pleasanton. Located near a giant Redwood Forest, next to the San Lorenzo River, near the Roaring Camp Railroad.
These sites are going very quickly, as we have had already over 20+ families reserve sites. We are trying for sites in the south campground. For those interested, we are going to try to secure seats for the Saturday, September 26 "Beach Train", which will provide a round trip from Felton to the Beach Boardwalk, then back to Felton. You can join us on the train, even if you are not camping with us.

Load onto the Roaring Camp Railroad Beach Train in Felton, California at 9:30 am. The train will deliver us to the Beach Boardwalk, in Santa Cruz, at 11:00am.
This ride will be in both open and closed cars, traveling through the redwoods, the San Lorenzo River, down the middle of Santa Cruz streets, and finally arriving at the Boardwalk. Spend either one, or five hours at the beach. We then load up at either 12:00pm, ot 4:00pm, for our one hour return to Felton. Tickets will be discounted for this event on Saturday, September 26.

Single Service & May Church Potluck (THIS SUNDAY!)
We will have one service at 10:00 AM, followed by a brief Family Meeting, and our annual Cinco de Mayo-themed potluck. We look forward to sharing a meal together and strengthening our bond in Jesus Christ.
Note: To facilitate cleanup, please ensure your dish is ready to serve in a disposable container. Warming pads will be in the MPR to keep your dish warm.

Dads / Kids Day at the Park: The VBC women will be on a retreat, leaving men "in charge."
This is a dads-with-kids get-together. Join in on the fun. Bring lunch for your crew. Also, bring games, snacks to share, and maybe a picnic blanket or chairs.

Every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, we gather in the Las Ventanas apartment community room to help a few Afghan ladies practice their English.
Teachers can be male or female. Sometimes we help with homework or learning the rules for driving, and some are learning to read English. It's a great way to make a difference in a recent immigrant’s life and a great way to share our lives and faith.

Camping Connection "Spring Break" outing to Hearst San Simeon, April 8 - 12.
This is our annual spring kickoff camping adventure. Located at the coast, just a few miles south of Hearst Castle.
There are many great destinations and things to do in this area. Try to reserve a campsite in the Lower Creek campground, in sites 43-75.

Join us for a Red Cross Blood Drive held in loving memory of Sarah Meng at Valley Bible Church at the Crossing on Saturday,
March 28. This special event honors Sarah’s life by giving others the gift of life through blood donation. The drive will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with appointments available throughout the day. Your donation can make a lifesaving difference for patients in need.

Join the VBC Kids as we partner with Kids Against Hunger! The VBC Kids ministry is hosting, but anyone is welcome to join. Kids Against Hunger is a non-profit humanitarian organization with a mission to provide fully nutritious food to impoverished children and families around the world...and around the corner.
The organization's goal is for the meals to provide a stable nutritional base from which recipient families can move toward self-sufficiency, away from starvation or food insecurity. They often provide meals for impoverished families during emergencies and use meal distribution to share the Gospel all over the world!
Cost: $20 per person (Every dollar produces 5 malnutrition-fighting meals!)
Camping Connections will be heading to the Jackson Rancheria campground from March 11-16.
Located in the Sierra Foothills, just east of Jackson in the Mother Lode, this campground has been voted the best RV campground in the entire country. There is plenty to do in this area, including a heated swimming pool, hot tub, putting green, bocce ball, hiking, paddle ball, and much more.
We've also had people stay at the hotel in the past. This campground is exclusively for RVs and trailers. Please feel free to contact Wayne Johnson at sportwayne@aol.com with your questions or to sign up.
We already have twenty sites reserved, as this location sells out a year in advance.
Wayne can also assist with RV rentals.

Come out and join us for an afternoon of walking, strengthening, and praying together! Jen Allan, a CPT, will lead you through a dynamic warm-up with power walking, fitness stations, and a time of strengthening the core and balance.
Bring your mat and tubing from home.
We'll end our time with some prayer and fellowship.
This is a FREE event!
If you do not like an amazing breakfast, excellent fellowship, and meeting new people, this event is not for you. But, if you love amazing breakfast, fellowship, and meeting new people, please join us for our Men's breakfast at 9:00 AM on Saturday, February 14th at VBC!
Invite your fathers and sons, friends, male coworkers, and neighbors. This event is free, though we will be accepting voluntary donations to help offset food costs.
Who’s ready to come out and have some Valentine's fun?
Come join us for a Valentine Bunco Night (a dice game played with multiple partners). We will have snacks, prizes, and an enjoyable time of fellowship. No experience needed.
Bring a snack to share if you’d like. Cost is $5.00.
We will also have the privilege of writing valentines for some of the women in Hope Beyond (a ministry that helps and encourages women who are or have been incarcerated).
There will be tables set up with valentine supplies, so come out and share the love.
Men, please join other men from VBC on Saturday, January 24th, for a church campus work and maintenance day. There will be inside and outside work, so bring yard tools and general work tools from home.

As the cold months arrive, many neighbors need a little extra warmth and love.
Monthly Miracles is partnering with New Beginnings Church for the annual Christmas Miracles Coat Drive—and VBC is excited to help!
We’re collecting clean, gently used coats of all sizes (NB to XXXL) for families in the Tri-Valley.
Donations can be dropped off in the front lobby box at VBC from November 16 to December 7, 2025. Together, let’s share the warmth and love of Christ to brighten this Christmas for those in need.
Please check the lost and found bins in the lobby. Unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity on Monday, October 27th.
