Please join us for the Operation Christmas Child Alameda County Annual Kick-Off Event! This year we have two speakers!

One is a woman named Nanor from the Middle East who received a shoebox gift as a child while living the first year of her life in a bomb shelter with 300 other people. When the war ended her family moved into a small village, but the country struggled economically. Receiving her shoebox gift brought hope in the worst of times as she discovered beautiful stationery, scented soap, and a Barbie doll she immediately loved. She was overwhelmed by the idea that someone who did not even know her would do something so nice. Nanor and the donor became penpals! Please join us for a special time of Nanor sharing her testimony.

We also have the Alameda County Team Leader, Traci, who will share about her recent trip to Liberia on a shoebox distribution trip! There will be shoebox materials and boxes you may pick-up, and stadium-style snacks, with a game table for the kids.
