Quest Thanksgiving Banquet

It's that time of year again! Every year, during the Holiday season, Quest (our young adult ministry) hosts two banquets in honor of the VBC Food Pantry Ministry- for the workers who serve the ministry, and the people and families who use its resources. The first one coming up with a Thanksgiving theme will be on Thursday, November 21st at 7pm. We will all sit down and eat together, build relationships with families, and enjoy a time of worship and sharing of the gospel message. There are many moving parts throughout the evening, and we are in need of help in the following four ways:

1. Make a dish - we will need turkeys, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, green beans, and a few desserts.
2. Serve food - this involves dishing out the food and checking tables to ensure everyone has been served
3. Host a table - we need friendly folks to sit at each table, greet our guests and initiate conversation
4. Donate a gift card - our goal at the end of the event is that every food pantry family gets a gift card. Gift cards in any amount can be dropped off at VBC any time before the event (in an envelope labeled "Gathering Thanksgiving Special". We prefer gift cards to grocery stores, department stores, gas stations... places to purchase useful items such as food, clothes, etc.
